Mercy Hospital South Cancer Center
Northstar served as the Program Manager/Owner’s Representative on the $300 Million, multi-phased master plan on the existing medical center campus. The David M. Sindelar Cancer Center, a $57.8 Million, 80,000 SF comprehensive cancer center building was a key element of the project. The cancer center building program included: radiation oncology with two linear accelerators/vaults and support space, breast imaging center, diagnostic imaging center, including CT, MRI and Pet CT, medical oncology infusion center and USP 800 pharmacy to support 24 infusion chairs, outpatient lab, café, boutique, physician offices, conference center, holistic health services, registration area and clinical support offices. The project also included extensive site improvements with parking expansion, helipad relocation, campus loop road, and site storm water improvements, to facilitate future campus development as defined by the master planning effort. In addition to Program Manager/Owner’s Representative services, Northstar provided medical equipment planning services on the project.
