Mercy Health Love Family Women's Center

Northstar served as the Program Manager/Owner’s Representative on the Love Family Women’s Center, located on the campus of Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City.  The new 175,000 square foot, four-story, state-of-the art facility includes 15 large labor and delivery rooms, 7 antepartum rooms, 45 postpartum rooms and 3 caesarean section suites with pre- and post- operative recovery rooms.   The three large caesarean section suites connect to the existing hospital on the first floor to allow for quick, safe access to additional services if needed.   The facility also features Oklahoma’s first hospital-based low intervention birthing unit run by accredited midwives who are also registered nurses in collaboration with obstetricians.

In addition to serving as the Program Manager/Owner’s Representative on this project, Northstar’s services included full medical equipment planning.
