Tampa General Hospital - Taneja Surgical, Neuroscience and Transplant Tower

Northstar is serving as the Program Manager/Owner’s Representative for the new Taneja Surgical, Neuroscience and Transplant Tower, located on the northern tip of Tampa General Hospital’s Davis Islands Campus.  This landmark 13-story, 534,000 square-foot tower features 144 ICU adaptable patient beds and 31 operating suites.  The project also includes a Sterile Processing Department designed to serve the entire hospital campus, and two shelled floors to support 72 future patient rooms.  Additional highlights include a Central Energy Plant, a café, and a two-story pedestrian bridge connecting the new tower to the existing hospital.

Enabling work also included construction of two rooftop helipads on the Bayshore Pavilion.

In addition to Program Management, Northstar is also providing full Medical Equipment Management services for the project.
