Owner requested space flexibility to allow room to function as board room, emergency command center and reception space. This required design coordination and implementation of intense AV equipment, furniture and food serving space.
Northstar led project planning meetings with the various user groups, who would utilize the space, and the design team, to capture all necessary details. Northstar worked closely with approved vendors to coordinate custom equipment and construction to meet the Owner requirements. Table was designed to be flexible in configuration, allowing disconnects in AV (power, data, and microphone) to adjust to various meeting scenarios. AV capabilities allowed many different meeting formats and sizes. Room layouts, product review and sub-group review meetings were held on a regular schedule to keep project on track to successful completion. Northstar ensured inclusion of support staff necessary to operate room once completed. This resulted in a smooth turnover and usage of the space that has exceeded the Owner's requirements.
